MBSD Meerschaum Silver Smooth Cutty w/ Case Block Meerschaum Pipe, New. The MBSD Meerschaum Silver is our new series of silver mounted meerschaum pipes.

Using the same high-grade, fast-coloring Turkish meerschaum found on our Deluxe series, these pipes exclusively feature silver army mounts or spigot mounts. The cutty is a shape that has "jumped" mediums several times in pipe making. From clay, to briar, to meerschaum, it seems to have found a place everywhere, no doubt in part thanks to its inherent elegance.

Like many of our pipes, this army mount cutty has a little bit of Danish influence, such as in the recent re-intepretations of the traditional form by figures such as Tom Eltang and Mike Sebastian Bay. On the other hand, it hasn't strayed too far from the design's classical roots. Bowl Width: 0.78 / 19.81mm. Weight: 0.9oz / 26g.
