Antique 1800's LEE VAN CLEEF Block Meerschaum Pipe with Amber Stem & AMAZING COLOR

  

Amazing late 1800's Genuine Block Meerschaum Pipe in what has recently been call the "Lee Van Cleef" style. This pipe has AMAZING color from decades of being smoked.

The pipe will need cleaning as it is loaded with cake and what appears to be unsmoked tobacco. The stem has a couple of old repairs including what appears to be a redmanol base. The stem is securely attached to the shank and I have not tried to remove it. This pipe is the ideal candidate for a full restoration with a custom replacement stem. You will not find a more "legit" Lee Van Cleef pipe anywhere.

Again, I have not had time to clean this pipe. But, it's a real beauty that has the normal dents, dings and wear & tear that one would expect from a 120+ year pipe!
